Many trials of the 20 Francs Science et Travail were made before the final type was chosen. Clément Serveau was entrusted with its design as early as 1922. It was placed in circulation 17 years later for only a little more than two years. During this long design period, the vignette, colors and engraver changed a number of times. A lot of documents thus resulted from these changes. We haven't listed them all here, but some of them may be found in our records (cgb.fr) under reference F.12.00Ec
