Frappe exceptionnelle avec des champs miroir et bien centrée, ce qui laisse apparaître la quasi totalité des grènetis. La monnaie présente pratiquement aucune trace de circulation et conserve une très grande partie de son brillant d’origine. Exemplaire de toute beauté

SPAIN - FRENCH OCCUPATION OF BARCELONA
(12/02/1808-30/05/1814)
Barcelona was occupied by French troops on February 12, 1808. The insurrection of May/June 1808 caused a monetary shortage and reinforced supply problems, which forced the city authorities to open a workshop, reviving at the same time Catalan national feeling. Barcelona remains occupied until May 30, 1814.
