Épreuve sur papier gris assez épais, avec talon. Le papier utilisé ressemble aux billets autrichiens de type "Formular" des années 1790. M.Buathier signale un autre exemplaire de même type mais en 500 Francs avec signature identique inconnue (voir site assignat.fr).
