FAUX P8. Affaire des Papys faux monnayeurs (1989). Quatre types de faux connus : 50F Quentin de la Tour, 100F Delacroix, 200F Montesquieu et 500F Pascal. Belle qualité de fabrication, avec filigrane très net au recto. Contrairement aux autres types contrefaits, les faussaires se sont trompés pour la correspondance date / alphabet, le 237 étant émis en 1986. Cette affaire est très importante car elle a porté sur quatre types de faux et pour un montant total estimé de 600 millions de francs.
