Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, parfaitement centré des deux cotés. Joli portrait. Très beau revers ! Patine vert olive foncé

Poids léger. Cet as appartient à l’émission d’adoption d’Aelius par Hadrien d’après le classement de P. V. Hill. Semble beaucoup plus rare avec le buste drapé, c’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente !.

Aélius receives the title of Caesar at the very end of 136. Consul in 137, he becomes Lucius Ælius Verus and is sent as governor to Pannonia in 137. Sick, he returns to Rome and dies on January 1, 138.
