Ce jeton est lié au traité de Paris de 1783 mettant fin au conflit entre l’Angleterre et la France et aboutissant à la reconnaissance officielle de l’indépendance des Etats-Unis d’Amérique par les monarchies européennes. Cet exemplaire est celui qui illustre le type dans le Guéant-Prieur.
