Commentary


Un denier de ce type avec la légende CAPAS nous avait fait l’attribuer à Cheppes (Marnes) ; cf. bmv_287944.
D’un type comparable, mais avec le monogramme édiculaire au droit comme au revers, cet exemplaire présente une autre légende sans équivalent. Si son attribution est complexe, il est cohérent de proposer une origine dans la Marne.
