Intéressant triens, sur un flan large, avec un avers complet mais un revers avec les légendes en bord de flan. Patine de collection ancienne

Obverse description : Tête barbare, très stylisée à gauche ; légende autour et grènetis.

Reverse legend : CROHO V M.

Reverse description : Croix grecque aux trois extrémités supérieures bifides, dans un grènetis intérieur avec un annelet pointé et perlé à six heures ; légende autour.

Commentary

INRIIOT ne semble pas permettre d’attribuer ce triens à un atelier précis. Dans son ouvrage, Belfort ne propose aucune attribution pour ce triens et le Monetae semble quand à lui avoir ignoré ce triens très stylisé. La légende de revers proposée dans le Belfort est sujette à discussion à partir de cet exemplaire (pourtant très proche du B. 2052).
