Triens homogène, sur un flan un peu court mais avec des types centrés. Flan d’aspect un peu clair, de faible aloi avec 41% d’or. Rayures superficielles au revers laissant apparaître l’or plus jaune

Reverse description : Croix basse soudée sur un degré, fiché sur un globe avec II-C dans les 1er et 2e cantons, dans un grènetis ; légende autour.

Commentary


Ce triens s’insère dans la série de monnaies de PINO (B. 3662-3663), pour le monétaire HILDEBODVS, mais aucun des revers ne correspond à notre triens. Ce revers avec une les lettres II-C en cantonnement de la croix ne semble pas répertorié.
La légende de droit est PINO...FITAR ou PINO...FITVR selon les exemplaires. En modifiant le début de la légende, Prou a lu ARDINO FIT.
