Flan un peu court et ovale, avec de beaux reliefs

Commentary
Cette intéressante monnaie est étrangement proche des monnaies de la série dite “au serpent cornu” dont une douzaine de quarts seraient connus ; les provenances seraient localisées dans l'Aisne et principalement la Somme.
Pour ce type précis, nous aurions plutôt à faire à une monnaie anglo-saxonne frappée par les Atrébates. L’exemplaire n° 598 de MONNAIES 55, a été vendu 1807€ sans les frais.
