Obverse description : Au-dessus d'un rameau qui traverse le champ, sanglier et cheval qui détourne la tête face à face ; les animaux sont entourés d’annelets centrés.
Reverse
Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.
Reverse description : Sanglier enseigne à droite ; sous le groin, un bucrane, devant une rouelle à quatre rayons; sous et derrière le sanglier, deux petits annelets superposés ; ligne d’exergue brisée.
Commentary
Cet exemplaire est sur un flan très large qui laisse apparaître de nombreux détails qui ne sont pas visibles sur d’autres exemplaires, en particulier au droit.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
