Exemplaire sur un flan mince, très large et légèrement bombé. Sujets complets des deux côtés. Infime petit éclat de flan à 3 heures au droit. Revers de style très fin

Reverse description : Cheval bondissant à gauche, conduit par un aurige qui tient les rênes ; sous la queue du cheval, reste de la roue du char ; devant la tête du cheval, un astre ; sous le cheval, un loup bondissant à gauche ; le tout, entouré d’un cordon perlé.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
