Coments on the condition:
Flan un peu court et irrégulier, mais avec des types bien identifiables. Patine sombre, brillante au revers mais un peu terne avec de petites zones oxydées au droit

Ce potin est excessivement rare ; le n° 751 provenant de la collection Patat a été vendu 530€ sur un ordre maximum de 839€. Le second exemplaire que nous ayons proposé, le n° 833 de MONNAIES 31 été vendu 646€ sur un ordre de 700€ !.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)

(2nd - 1st century BC)

The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
