Commentary

Bien que datée 1860, ces monnaies auraient été frappées vers 1875 par les ateliers Mennig Frères à Bruxelles d’après le travail du graveur belge Charles Wurden. Le Standard Catalog of World Coins indique un chiffre de frappe de 11.467.000 exemplaires.
