CAMBRÉSIS - BISHOPRIC OF CAMBRAI - PHILIP OF MARIGNY
(1306-1309)
Philippe de Marigny was the 55th bishop of Cambrai. In 1306 he succeeded Gui de Collemède (1296-1306). Before entering the clergy, Philippe de Marigny had been a member of the Privy Council of Philippe IV le Bel. His episcopate in Cambrai was quite short because in 1309 he was appointed bishop of Sens. He was replaced by Pierre de Mirepoix (1309-1324).
