Obverse description : Tête laurée de Caracalla à droite, un début de drapé sur le devant du cou, vu de trois quarts en arrière, l’un des deux rubans de la couronne laurée descendant sur l’épaule (O*).

Obverse legend : AUT. KAI. AN-TwNINOS SE, (Autokrator Kaisar Antwninos Sebastos).

Obverse translation : (L'empereur césar Antonin auguste).

Reverse

Reverse description : Aigle debout à droite, les ailes déployées, la tête et la queue tournées à gauche, tenant dans son bec une couronne perlée ; entre les pattes, un dauphin entouré sur un trident sous trois épis de blé.

Reverse legend : DH EX U PATOS TO D.

Reverse translation : (Revêtu de la puissance tribunitienne consul pour la quatrième fois).

Commentary

Dans la base TSP maintenue par Michel Prieur, trois exemplaires sont maintenant répertoriés dont un en musée, à Paris, ex collection Seyrig. Notre exemplaire, est le 1294_003.
