Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large et régulier. Exemplaire recouvert d’une légère patine et présentant de petites taches sur les deux faces

Commentary

Ce type de denier est très rare, avec seulement trois exemplaire étudiés par Georges Depeyrot. Cette monnaie est absente du Morrison-Grunthal, ces auteurs la considérant comme féodale. La graphie des lettres est en effet à mi-chemin entre les monnaies carolingiennes et féodales. Une attribution à Charles III pourrait être envisagée.
