Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large et légèrement irrégulier. Monnaie recouverte d’une patine foncée hétérogène portant de petites taches

Commentary

Un tel denier avec l’œil en forme d’oméga et entre deux croix est particulièrement rare. Dominique Legros lui assigne à juste titre un indice de rareté R5. De tels deniers étaient présents dans le trésor de Saumur enfoui vers 1028-1030.
