Obverse description : Vue de la cour de l’Hôtel-Dieu fondé et construit en 1443 à Beaune par Nicolas Rolin, chancelier de Philippe le Bon, duc de Bourgogne, et par son épouse Guigone de Salins.

Reverse legend : SEULLE.
Reverse description : L’oiseau posé sur une branche et la devise des fondateurs : SEULLE, figurent sur des tentures rouges, tissées vers la même époque, qui recouvrent les murs de la Grand’Chambre des Pauvres. L’étoile est symbole de charité et l’écu porte les armes des deux époux.
