Coments on the condition:
Légère usure au droit sur la cuisse notamment et le nez de la République. Petites marques de manipulation mais un très beau revers avec une jolie patine des deux côtés.

Historical background
FRENCH COCHINCHINA
A region of the lower Mekong plains, Cochinchina was traveled by French missionaries in the 19th century. Persecuted by the Annamese emperors, they appealed to the government and Saigon was occupied in 1859, then the rest of Cochinchina from 1862 to 1867. Cochinchina was then attached to Indochina. It is now part of Vietnam.
