Reverse description : Annona (l’Annone) drapée, debout de face, regardant à gauche, tenant une statuette de Concordia (la Concorde) de la main droite et une corne d’abondance de la gauche ; à ses pieds, à gauche, un modius rempli d’épis de blé et à droite, un navire avec deux personnages assis dessus dont l’un est probablement Victoria (la Victoire).
Reverse translation : “Annona Augusta Tribunitia Potestas nonus Imperator sextus Consul quartus Pater Patriae”, (L’Annone de l’Auguste revêtu de la neuvième Puissance Tribunitienne et de la sixième acclamation impériale Consul pour la quatrième fois Père de la Patrie).

Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life.
