Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier, parfaitement centré au droit, un peu court au revers sur le phare. Belle tête de Commode. Très joli revers, décentré sur le phare. Belle patine marron foncé

Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life. The Empire was successively governed by the prefects of the Praetorium, Perennis from 182 to 185, Cléandre from 185 to 190, who were both assassinated. Commodus suffocated on the night of December 31, 192.
