Obverse description : Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé de Constantin Ier à droite, vu de trois quarts en avant (A*).
Obverse translation : “Imperator Constantinus Augustus”, (Empereur Constantin auguste).

Reverse legend : MARTI CON-SERVATORI/T|F// PTR.
Reverse description : Mars debout à droite, la tête tournée à gauche, casqué, vêtu militairement, tenant de la main droite une haste renversée et appuyé de la gauche sur un bouclier.
Reverse translation : “Marti Conservatori”, (À Mars conservateur).
Commentary
C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente. Rubans de type 3. Les deux lettres T|F pourraient se développer sous la forme “Temporum Felicitas”, (les temps heureux). Ce type avec la tête tournée dans l’autre sens semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux.
