Exemplaire sur un flan mince bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait inhabituel de Constance II. Revers de style fin. Belle patine marron foncé avec des reflets métalliques

Reverse description : Porte de camp surmontée de deux tourelles ; au milieu, une étoile.

Commentary

Poids très léger. Avec son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3. Imitation hybride associant un droit de Constantin II césar avec la titulature du l’Auguste. Ce type se rencontre dans les imitations (Bastien I66, pl. XXIV). Néanmoins notre exemplaire semble de très bon style. Les deux premières lettres de Providentiae (PR) sont néanmoins inversées. Sept rangs verticaux de pierres. Semble inédit et non recensé. Manque à tous les ouvrages consultés.
