Commentary

Cette médaille est attribuée à la manufacture Deneirouse et Eugène Boisglavy, spécialisée dans le travail de la soie et de la laine, à l’occasion de l’exposition des produits de l’Industrie Française de 1849. Il s’agissait de la IIe édition. Elle eut lieu pendant 60 jours (1er juin-30 juillet) sur les Champs Elysées.
