Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait. Revers bien venu à la frappe avec une usure superficielle. Belle patine de collection ancienne

Ptolemy VI was the eldest son of Ptolemy V and Cleopatra I Thea. His mother's regency lasted until 176 BC. He reigned jointly with his brother Ptolemy VIII from 170 to 164 BC. He married his sister Cleopatra II by whom he had two daughters and Ptolemy VII. He died of his wounds while fighting Alexander I Balas.
