Exemplaire sur un flan large, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau buste du roi avec le grènetis visible. Frappe molle et faible au revers. Patine de collection ancienne, légèrement granuleuse avec des reflets dorés

Commentary

L’ancre placée derrière le buste du roi n’est pas sans rappeler celle qui orne les monnaies séleucides, moyen de signaler l’ancienneté et la filiation des monarques du royaume d’Élymaïde. Sur notre exemplaire, les légendes sont complètement dégénérées et la date n’est plus du tout visible.
