Obverse description : Buste diadémé et drapé de Phraates à droite, coiffé de la tiare ; dans le champ à droite un croissant pointé au-dessus d’une ancre.

Reverse description : Artémis debout à droite, drapée, tenant un arc de la main gauche et tirant une flèche de son carquois de la main droite.

Commentary

Représentation inhabituelle du roi. Ce type semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous proposons un exemplaire à la vente.
