(1291-05/11/1327)

Jacques II was born around 1260. He is the second son of Peter III of Aragon and Constance of Hohenstaufen. First king of Sicille from 1285 to 1291 under the name of Jacques I, he became king of Aragon and count of Barcelona in 1291 and left Sicille to his younger brother Frederick II. On November 1, 1295 he married Blanche d'Anjou. He died in Barcelona on November 5, 1327.
