Il existe de nombreuses variantes pour ce type, ici il s’agit de la variété avec une flèche dans le talon gauche de l’Indien.

A decree of the General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts of October 17, 1786 authorizes the establishment of a workshop minting gold, silver and copper coins. Only half-cent and one-cent coins dated 1787 and 1788 were minted.
