Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de Faustine Jeune dans la plénitude de l’âge. Très joli revers de style fin, bien venu à la frappe. Magnifique patine vert olive profond marbrée de rouge

Reverse description : Salus (la Santé) assise sur un siège à dossier, le bras gauche appuyé sur le dossier et tenant une patère de la main droite, nourrissant un serpent enroulé autour d'un autel.
Reverse translation : “Saluti Augustæ”, (À la Santé de l'augusta).

Poids léger. Buste avec stéphané. La légende de revers est au datif.

Augusta
Young Faustina, the daughter of Antoninus and Faustina Mother, was born between 128 and 132. She married Marc Aurèle in 145 and received the title of augusta in 146. She had thirteen children, seven of whom survived childhood. A very important coinage is struck until his death in 175 in Halala at the foot of Mount Taurus in Cappadocia.
