Reverse description : Génie ailé (Jupiter enfant) assis à droite sur une chèvre (Amalthée), surmonté des bonnets des Dioscures étoilés ; à l'exergue, un thyrse couché ; le tout dans une couronne de laurier.

Grand buste. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 206 coins de droit et de 229 coins de revers pour quatre variétés différentes. Les auteurs du CMDRR. isolent quant à eux six variétés différentes pour ce type.

Manius Fonteius, our moneyer, could be the urban quaestor (Quaestor Urbanus) in 84 BC. He would then be legate in Spain (Hispania Ulterior) in 81 BC, then legate in Macedonia in 77-76 before J.-C. before becoming praetor in 75 before J.-C. and finally legate propraetor in Narbonnaise Gaul in 74-72 before J.-C. (according to RE. II, 591, n°5).
