Reverse description : Hercule à demi nu, l’épaule couverte et portant la massue sur l’épaule gauche, couronné par une main venue des cieux.

Commentary

La représentation d’Hercule au revers est de toute beauté. Il s’agit d’un bel exemple de l’art baroque de l’extrême fin du XVIIe siècle. Le rendu est comparable à une oeuvre pictural.
