Flan irrégulier. Très beau portrait. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Jolie patine de collection avec des reflets dorés

Obverse description : Buste drapé, tête nue de Géta à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A°21).
Obverse translation : "Publius Septimius Geta Cæsar", (Publius Septime Géta césar).
Reverse
Reverse legend : PONTIF - COS II.
Reverse description : Géta voilé et drapé debout à gauche, tenant une patère de la main droite, sacrifiant au-dessus d'un autel allumé, et de la main gauche deux épis.
Reverse translation : "Pontifex Consul iterum", (Pontife consul pour la deuxième fois).
Commentary
Le buste de Géta se modifie, le favori est présent et un duvet pointe sur la joue, le long de l’oreille.

Caesar
Born on May 26, 189, Geta became Caesar in 198 and received the title of pontifex the following year. He accompanies his father and his brother to Brittany from 208 and is raised to Augustat the following year. When Septimius Severus died in York on February 4, 211, the two brothers brought their father's ashes back to Rome and became co-emperors. But they hate each other. Finally, after a year of joint rule, Caracalla kills his brother in their mother's arms. Geta is dedicated to "damnatio memoriæ" (damnation of memory). His supporters are systematically massacred.
