Exemplaire sur un flan large, ovale et irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de Gordien III. Joli revers à l’usure superficielle. Très belle patine gris foncé avec des reflets mordorés et bleutés

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
