Exemplaire sur un flan ovale centré avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait de Gordien III. Joli revers de style fin bien venu à la frappe. Belle patine grise avec des reflets dorés. Conserve la plus grande partie de son brillant de frappe

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
