Exemplaire sur un flan large et épais, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles avec une faiblesse de frappe sur les légendes. Très beaux portraits. Revers de style fin et de frappe un peu faible. Patine vert foncé, légèrement granuleuse

GORDIANUS III and TRANQUILLINA
(241-244)
Gordian III married the daughter of the prefect of the Praetorian Timésithée, Tranquillina, in 241. The following year, she accompanied the emperor to the East. After the death of his father, replaced by Philip the Arab, we lose track of him. Gordian was assassinated in 244 at the instigation of the new prefect of the Praetorium.
