Exemplaire sur un flan large, centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets avec une usure importante lisible et identifiable. Portrait inhabituel de Gordien III. Revers à l’usure importante. Patine verte et sable, légèrement granuleuse, avec une minuscule oxydation sur le visage

Commentary

Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges larges sous le paludamentum. Même coin de droit que l’exemplaire du Cabinet des médailles de la BnF (SNG France 3/ 1228, pl. 66).
