Victoria I (1819-1901) est la fille d'Édouard, duc de Kent, et de Victoria de Saxe Cobourg. Elle succède à son oncle Guillaume IV en 1837 et épouse Albert, prince de Saxe Cobourg Gotha (1819-1861), en 1840. Elle est la grand-mère de l'Europe nobilia.
