COUNTY OF HAINAULT - MARGARET OF FLANDERS

(1244-1280)

Marguerite de Constantinople is the daughter of Jeanne, Countess of Flanders (1205-1244), and was Countess of Hainaut. She married Count Bouchard d'Avesnes in 1212 but her marriage was annulled in 1221. From this marriage she had a son named Jean who was Count of Hainaut from 1246 to 1257.
