Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait particulier d’Hélène. Frappe molle au revers. Patine vert foncé, légèrement granuleuse

Helena, mother of Constantine and first wife of Constantius Chlorus, received the title of augusta in 324. After the death of Fausta and Crispus, she went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, she discovered remains of the true cross and founded many institutions. She died in 328, was sanctified and entered in the calendar.
