Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan large, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait particulier d’Hélène. Joli revers avec une petite faiblesse sur la tête. Belle patine vert foncé. Conserve la plus grande partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Helena, mother of Constantine and first wife of Constantius Chlorus, received the title of augusta in 324. After the death of Fausta and Crispus, she went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, she discovered remains of the true cross and founded many institutions. She died in 328, was sanctified and entered in the calendar.
