(1711- 1740)
Charles VI (1685-1740) is the second son of Leopold I and the brother of Joseph I. He was Philip V's competitor to the Spanish throne in the War of the Spanish Succession (1700-1714). He succeeded his brother in 1711. His daughter Marie-Thérèse succeeded him in 1740.
