Obverse description : Buste rayonnant de profil gauche d’un empereur moghol, probablement Muhammad Shah, coiffé d’un turban duquel dépasse une palme retombant à l’arrière, et vêtu d’une tenue d’apparat. Inscription circulaire en arabe mentionnant les dates de 1113 et 1161.

Commentary

Alliage probablement à base d’étain et de cuivre. Fabrication artisanale.
Les dates de 1113 et de 1161 du calendrier de l’Hégire, correspondant à 1701 et 1747 dans le calendrier Grégorien, pourraient faire référence aux années de naissance et de mort de l’empereur moghol Muhammad Shah. .
