(1320-1325/ A.H. 720-725)
Tugluq Shah I captured Delhi in AH. 720 and created a new dynasty. His son Mohammed Shah III had to face several revolts. In order to refocus his Empire, the sultan who wanted to conquer the Deccan, moved his capital to Deogir. When he died in AH. 725, his cousin Firoz Shah III was proclaimed Sultan and returned to settle in Delhi.
