Obverse description : Buste rayonnant de profil gauche d’un empereur moghol, probablement Jahandar Shah, coiffé d’un turban duquel dépasse une palme tombant vers l’arrière, et vêtu d’une tenue d’apparat. Inscription circulaire en arabe mentionnant le nom de l’empereur.

Alliage probablement à base d’étain et de cuivre. Fabrication artisanale.
Jahandar Shah, fils de Bahadur Shah, est un empereur moghol ayant régné entre 1712 jusqu’à sa mort en 1713. Il est assassiné par son neveu Farrukhsiyâr. L’attribution de la médaille à cet empereur est possible grâce à l’inscription circulaire de l’avers reprenant la titulature de l’empereur.
