Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés, un peu court sur la fin de la légende au revers. Belle tête de Tyché. Joli revers bien venu à la frappe. Belle patine verte

IONIA - METROPOLIS

(1st century BC)

Metropolis, placed between Ephesus and Smyrna from north to south and between Colophon and Larissa from west to east, is not known before the first century BC. Its coinage during the imperial period was important between Augustus and Salonina. There is also an alliance coinage with Ephesus.
