Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais bien centré des deux côtés. Beau buste de Tyché. Représentation inhabituelle au revers. Très belle patine verte et sable

IONIA - METROPOLIS

(1st century BC)

Metropolis, placed between Ephesus and Smyrna from north to south and between Colophon and Larissa from west to east, is not known before the first century BC. Its coinage during the imperial period was important between Augustus and Salonina. There is also an alliance coinage with Ephesus.
