Cette monnaie est frappée sur un flan assez laissant apparaître une bonne partie des grènetis extérieurs. On doit noter un léger décentrage au droit. Une jolie patine marron recouvre cet exemplaire

(1702-1705)
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the French occupied several towns in Piedmont. Modena surrendered on July 31, 1702. From the end of the year 1703, the creation of a mint was considered in Modena. This workshop struck in the name of Louis XIV in 1704 and 1705 species of billon and copper.
