Très bel exemplaire, avec des traces d'usure et de manipulation, mais recouvert d'une patine sombre lui donnant un très bel aspect. Un coup sur la tranche un peu avant 12 heures au revers

(1848)
The Napoleonic conquests and the war against Austria put an end to the Republic of Venice: on May 12, 1797, Napoleon obtained the surrender of the Venetian government and, at the Treaty of Campo-Formio, France abandoned Venice to Austria, which it will occupy until 1866, even if in 1848 will be created an ephemeral republic (from March to August 1848) under the aegis of Daniel Manin.
